THE CHALLENGE
The BBC’s Seven Worlds One Planet programme centred on a different continent each week, raising issues around climate change with the key message ‘Our Planet Matters’. Our mission was to bring this to life with direction from BBC’s own creative team.
THE EXECUTION
Visiting two major UK cities, we built toured the giant BBC Living Globe with each continent represented by native plants and materials. Staff were on hand to educate about the ‘Our Planet Matters’ message and distribute branded seed bombs; a lasting takeaway for visitors to the experience.
THE OUTCOME
Over 2 weeks of activity our team had around 18,000 quality customer interactions and distributed 10,000 seed bombs. The Globe itself became home to local wildlife in each city with our planting aimed at attracting bees and other native species. Long term, the Globe has been donated to the Eden Project in Cornwall to live on and create its very own ecosystem.
