The Challenge
In a world driven by responsibilities and routine, Fanta identified a cultural gap: Gen Z rarely gets encouraged to embrace joy for joy’s sake. While the beverage aisle overflowed with functional options, it lacked fun. Fanta aimed to shift this narrative, reviving excitement in the flavours category, highlighting its non-orange SKUs, and bringing back the iconic “Wanta Fanta” platform in a way that resonated with a new generation.
The Execution
We sent out a team of dancing expert Brand Ambassadors, dressed in quirky dungarees and brightly coloured Fanta-branded outfits. Positioned on a vibrant, multi-coloured dance floor, they engaged the crowd and invited people to join the Wanta Fanta Dance floor; an energetic, interactive activation designed to get teens moving and smiling. Participants aged 16+ were invited onto the interactive floor to follow a fun, guided routine led by the brand ambassadors. After 60 seconds of dancing, a digital prize was generated which then revealed the winning participant who was rewarded with the limited-edition Tutti Frutti flavour. The experience was further amplified with bold visuals, upbeat music and QR codes linking to the Coca-Cola App for additional rewards. Alongside the interactive dance activation, we took over the shopping centre with branded Fanta escalators to enhance the experience and create a fun, colourful atmosphere driving participants straight to the dance floor!
The Outcome
The shopping centre takeover brought Fanta’s refreshed “Wanta Fanta” platform to life in a joyful and unforgettable way. Branded escalators added a vibrant, playful touch, filling the space with Wanta Fanta energy. The campaign sparked real-world excitement, boosted sampling of new Zero Sugar flavours and got fans truly engaged, proving that sometimes, all you need is a little rhythm and a cold Fanta to do what you Wanta!
